  I've been looking for a church for a while. I was raised Catholic and had lapsed for over a decade, but the services nowadays are very stuffy and the homilies are often guilt trips about giving the church more money. I finally decided to give the Episcopal church a try--after sampling a few, I attended one service at St. Richard's and knew it was the right place for me. Rev. Stu and Rev. Zac are fantastic leaders who interject a lot of humor and grace into their sermons. I always prefer sermons that deal with what is going on today rather than just a history lesson on the Bible--they're great at intertwining both. I always walk out of the service feeling great. My husband, who hadn't attended church in 15+ years, started going with me and even goes when I'm out of town now because he enjoys the sermons.
  
  The community is warm and welcoming. I attend the 5p service most weeks and since it's a smaller crowd and more informal service, I feel I've gotten to know the regulars pretty well. They've all been very friendly.
